I have a Ph.D. in Journalism and I am a Docent in (Journalistic) Writing at the University of Jyväskylä and in Communication at the University of Helsinki.

I have always enjoyed writing, it is the most natural way for me to express myself. I write mostly in Finnish.

I have worked as a journalist and published hundreds of newspaper and magazine stories. As a researcher I have published both academic texts and professional articles.

I published a book called Tarinallinen journalismi (Narrative Journalism) in 2020.
